Our Firm

Kaim Todner LLP was founded in 1990 by Karen Todner and Robert Kaim. Today the Firm has 7 partners, 100 employees, thirty of whom are qualified Solicitors, and takes on 14 full-time trainees each year.

Our work is mainly Legal Aid based and we have a very strong Human Rights perspective and are known for representing highly vulnerable clients, especially those who have, or have had, mental health problems.

As well as our Head Office at Bolt Court (just off Fleet Street) in the City of London we have offices in Islington to cover North London and Southwark to deal with clients from South London. We also have an office in Ashford in Kent.

We have the resources to cover all aspects of a case from the smallest to the most complex, from the Magistrates Court through to the House of Lords. We can advise on European issues and have extensive training in the new Human Rights Act.

All our services are supported by high speed IT systems to ensure that the latest case law and most up to date advice is available to our staff and clients, wherever they are.

In particular, we try to prove to our clients that the legal profession can offer an approachable and friendly face at what is often a stressful time.

We provide a 24-hour emergency service for all those under arrest and will attend London Police Stations within the hour. If a Client is arrested outside London then we can either attend ourselves or arrange for a local specialist to attend on our behalf.
