President Obama and Prime Minister Cameron discuss the extradition of Gary McKinnonThe five boys who were ordered to be extradited to Crete under the European Arrest Warrant Scheme are innocent of the charges that they are accused of. Nevertheless the High Court has ordered their extradition to Greece. Theresa May agrees adjournment of judicial review to consider whether Gary McKinnon is fit to be extradited to US Kaim Todner have submitted representations to the new Home Secretary Theresa May asking her to reconsider the extradition of Gary McKinnon to the USA. Lord Justice Moses stated that Mr Mann’s extradition would take place despite the efforts of his “dedicated and accomplished lawyers”. The extradition of Garry Mann to Portugal is unjust and blatantly wrong. We anticipate the extradition of Mr Mann will take place within the next 10 days. Kaim Todner LLP Solicitors are pleased to announce that today The High Court has ordered that no steps must be taken to remove Garry Mann from this jurisdiction until after a hearing on Friday 7th May 2010, where the continuation of this injunction will be considered. Kaim Todner have been advised by the Extradition Unit of New Scotland Yard that the extradition of Garry Mann to Portugal will take place on Wednesday 5th May. Kaim Todner have made an application to the European Court of Human Rights under Rule 39 against the United Kingdom and Portugal to prevent the extradition of Garry Mann. Kaim Todner have obtained rule 39 relief for Garry Mann from the ECHR. This is granted until the 21st April 2010 to allow the full section of the ECHR to consider the application further. The case of Garry Mann has now been listed to be heard on 26th March at 10am at the Administrative Court. The judicial review for Gary Mckinnon will be heard on the 25th and 26th May 2010 at the High court of Justice. Kaim Todner are now representing the ex president of Benfica football club, Joao Alvezedo, regarding his extradition to Portugal. Kaim todner obtained an adjournment of the case this morning at the High Court. Kaim Todner have obtained a stay of Garry Mann’s Extradition to Portugal pending a full hearing later this year. We would like to apologise to anyone who had difficulty contacting us by phone in the last few days. This was due to a problem with the local telephone exchange and was totally out of our control.
All systems are back to normal now and we apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. Kaim todner now act for Garry Mann having taken the case on from his former solicitors. We have lodged new judicial review proceedings and have also lodged an application at the European Court of Human Rights.
